The Institute was started in the year 1957 with intake capacity of 96 seats in seven trades. At Present the institute have intake capacity of above 4500 seats / year in 40 different trades of six months to two years duration, 8 Course of two months to four months duration and 16 courses of two weeks to one month durations for Informal sector, imparting vocational training in

Ahmedabad and vicinity. Institute is a first ISO 9001:2000 certified Government ITI in the state which shows our assurance and commitment for quality services. Institute is also declared as Center of Excellence , Apparel Park Training Center in the year 2005.
